What We Believe

Hail & Cotton remains a family-owned company with deep roots, in communities around the world. For 100 years now, we have produced the highest quality tobacco while cultivating personal relationships that pass down through generations. Our boardrooms are the tobacco fields in Wilson and Springfield, in Harare, Rio Grande do Sul, and Jember.

It all starts at the top.

Our three presidents understand the hard work and commitment necessary for success. It means that we treat people and the product with respect. That the value of a relationship means more than the price of a bale.

Change is a constant in this industry. Our culture is to hold firm in our business ethics, values and core principles or practices with what has always worked, whilst remaining innovative and being responsible stewards. Honoring our world. Protecting our environment. Nurturing our next generation. And standing by every employee, partner grower and customer of Hail & Cotton.

It’s what families do.
